After he is asked for more information, the merchant says the golem can be 'picked up' from the Head back to the golem at Map Location #3 and activate it. Go back to the chamber at Map Location #2 yet again and there will be a new path going straight to Map Location #5. Go through the tunnel THIS will unlock the DLC for you in-game.
